As a child this quiet lion of an area has always been on the way to the westside for me. I could see Santa’s Village on one side and Trees of mystery on the other side. Trying to capture the Boardwalk visitors these small amusement parks are now gone. Scotts Valley patiently waited for the recognition it deserved. This patience paid off and has served Scotts Valley as the city planning seems to be carefully done and serves the community well. There seems to be a great collective of ideas to shape this beautiful area. It can be warm in the summer but only minutes to the beach and shady forests. Great for commuting close to Highway 17, there is also bus service for commuting to the Santa Clara valley as well. *please note these are my personal observations and knowledge of these areas.
